Massachusetts Association for Gifted Education
MAGE is a non-profit, volunteer organization which for over 30 years has worked in collaboration with state and federal politicians to advocate for the needs of gifted children in Massachusetts. Governed by a board of directors, MAGE is the Massachusetts affiliate of the National Association for Gifted Children. MAGE supports the needs of educators through professional development, and supports the needs of communities and parents through events, meetings, emailings, and a parent liaison. MAGE also offers a weekly Guided Parent Discussion Group at the Sage School in Foxboro, MA.

Massachusetts Department of Education Gifted and Talented Education Advisory Council
The Gifted and Talented Advisory Council advises the Commissioner and the Board of Education on meeting the special educational needs of students who are academically advanced (gifted and talented) and issues concerning academically advanced education in the Commonwealth. Made up of parents, educators, and community representatives, the Council represents a variety of interests and perspectives that support challenging learning opportunities for students. Along with the advice of members, the Council relies on research in the field by nationally recognized experts when developing recommendations for the Commissioner and the Board of Education.
